Case Involving 14th Amendment Due Process Right

In 1987, the Eleventh Circuit decided the Taylor v. Ledbetter case (Read more), which established that when a child welfare system takes children into its custody, it owes those children a 14th Amendment Due Process right to be kept safe from harm.
